So my current goals are to make it pro and if that does not happen for whatever reasons I plan on engineering being my alternative. Hopefully with good grades and a substantial amount of extracaricular activity I will make it to a premium college with a good engineering department and hopefully I will make my mark on future civil infrastructure.

pursuing a successful career.
For my future I am planning on majoring in engineering. Right now I am developing an understanding of the physics realm and I am deep in the swamp in calculus. I have also focused on developing into an elite soccer player because becoming a pro soccer player has always been a dream of mine. Although it's hard to practise everyday due to an abundant amount of work from school I still consider myself a very good player but I need to be decisive and join a great soccer team soon. I am currently on the verge of joing Earthquakes academy and if I am good enough I will be able to play in MLS, which is a very satisfying career for me. My goal for soccer is to play on a prestigious team in Euripe but the odds of me making it though is one in a million.

What admirable and DIVERSE goals! Keep them both alive, as the typical path of a pro athlete usually involves keeping a day job while you toil away in the minor leagues for a stretch. =)
ReplyDeletePlease, keep us all posted on the Earthquakes Academy. I'm really enjoying their run this year, and would completely geek out if I got to see you don their uniform one day. Good luck!
Amr, it would be awesome if you become a professional soccer player, so I hope you do! I think it's way better than being an engineer... Hopefully you'll make the Earthquakes Academy. I think it's very interesting how you and my brother have very similar dreams. Be optimistic and believe that you are that 1 in a million! I'm looking forward to see you and my brother compete in soccer professionally
ReplyDeleteBest,
Ayham
As one of your teammates i can say you are one of the best soccer players I know and you will go somewhere with that in life! I too would like to major in engineering and i feel as though we have some of the same interests. I really like the fact that you take on the responsibility of being an athlete while taking on a lot of the harder classes in school! Kudos to you bro
ReplyDeleteAlthough I know very little about soccer I do know that you extremely talented and hard working. I definitely think that if you can keep a good balance of academics and athletics you can be successful in both! I may not want to go pro like you, but i understand the struggles of pursuing all your different talents. I say go Earthquakes. Good luck Amr :)

I don't care about sports. Never cared less.
I tried EVERYTHING from FOREX & stocks to internet marketing and affiliate programs.. I even made some money but then lost it all when the stock market went south.
